This was one of my most interesting courses where my class spoke about world problems and strived to create ideas in attempt to solve or reduce them. Under Professor Dolence’s guidance, many of my classmates and I created new inventions, practices, and events to solve some of the problems affecting our community. My group determined a plan Longwood can take to become more sustainable and reduce unnecessary waste. This course helped grow my creativity and ability to execute plans.
The artifact above summarizes my experiences in the Civiate curriculum. I chose to include it because of its impact combined with the efforts of my other classes. That reflection is a summary of one of my final reflections regarding my experiences taking several courses at Longwood University and how they have shaped me into the person I am today.
