Bio and Resume

Bio

I grew up in Loudoun County Virginia as an older brother of two. I graduated from Potomac Falls High School with honors and received three scholarships from The Loudoun Education Association Future Educator’s Scholarship, the Loudoun County Retired Educator’s Association, and from the Loudoun Association of School Librarians. I am an Eagle Scout from Troop 1018 and a Third Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. I have been heavily involved in classical guitar, was selected to be a member of the All Virginia Guitar Ensemble for two years and a member of the Potomac Falls Guitar Quartet. I have played at VCU, Peabody Conservatory, Application State, at St. John the Apostle Church in NYC, in a competition at Universal Studios, and at many more events. I have also been a member of Loudoun Youth Guitars (LYG) directed by Dr. Miroslav Loncar for three years. LYG has played at several churches and at the Croatian Embassy. I was also selected to attend the PAVAN Regional Governor’s School for two summers to further my studies in classical guitar. In senior year of high school, I was in the Teacher Cadet program and was a Teacher Assistant in a sixth grade special education English class. That experience allowed me the opportunity to work as a Teacher Assistant for a special ed early ed classroom and an elementary special education Class Aid. I am now a sophomore at Longwood University majoring in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Special Education. I have been on the Dean’s List for both semesters.
