Anthropology 200: Cultural Anthropology

Cultural Anthropology was the first Anthropology course I took for my newly added Anthropology major my sophomore year. This course intrigued me from the beginning but throughout the semester I struggled greatly. This was the first time I had ever taken a hybrid course and I was not prepared for the changes that came with zoom and in-person learning. I also became aware of the struggles that are paired with not meshing well with a professor. I spent much of my time in this class butting heads with Dr. Dalton. This class taught me that even though I may not agree with the teaching styles of a professor, I have to push through and try my hardest to create the best environment for my education possible.
