Music 105: University Choir SA

From middle school to high school, I spent most of my time surrounded by music. The choir was my life. Coming to Longwood, I was determined to continue my singing career. As my high school choir experience ended, I began to feel my passion for singing fade. I began choir at Longwood excited and ready to sing. Throughout the semester, I slowly felt less and less connected to my music and performing. By my last concert, I had come to realize that singing in a choir was no longer my burning passion. Music 105 helped teach me that although my love for something may fade, it is ok to let go and find a new passion. Being in a choir was my rock for five years, but now I can move on from that with love in my heart as I find new hobbies.
