Hannah Harrington

As a young girl, I was always fascinated with archaeology. It was a subject I dreamed of studying but never believed I would pursue. When I discovered I could take archaeology as a credit-bearing class for my major, I hopped on the opportunity to take it. Dr. Bates made everyday fun and intriguing, drawing my attention and fascination in. One day, he approached me and asked if I had ever considered studying archaeology. After explaining to him my dream of being an archaeologist as a little girl, he told me that he noticed my hidden fascination with the subject. Archaeology 202 inspired me to become a double major and follow the dream I had when I was young.
