Sociology 105: Sociology in Practice

When I began searching for what classes I would take my second semester, I was told I had to take sociology with Dr. Milne. Everyone I talked to said he was fun and engaging and I would benefit from the class greatly. My peers were not wrong. Dr. Milne is a caring professor who truly engages with his students every day. Any time I walked into his classroom, I felt appreciated and heard. Dr. Milne allowed me to openly speak my opinion and express my feelings with him. His class opened my eyes to new perspectives on the human experience and through Dr. Milne’s encouragement, I learned how to openly express my opinions without becoming anxious or scared about the reaction I may receive.
