Interdisciplinary Sciences 361: Protecting Life on Earth

I enrolled in Protecting Life on Earth because I believe it is our duty as a species to ensure the protection of the earth’s biodiversity. The course set out to explain how we as humans have greatly decreased the population of thousands of species and possible solutions to help. Dr. Henk mixed biology with policymaking and environmental science and gave us the resources to do our own types of research. Through his class, I was able to practice using databases and journals to find credible information to perform research. This skill is incredibly important to have as an undergraduate student and for a future professional.
