Hello, future me!
As we come to the end of our freshman year, I am told to write you a letter. Ending off this year, I have changed my concentration, added a new major, and added (but will have to later drop) a minor. We are now a double major in archaeology and history with a concentration in public history. This year we have joined ITF, helped with Cormier consul, and have been voted Vice President of the College Democrats of Longwood.
This year was hard for us. The beginning of college seemed so great in the beginning. After a month, the joy faded. Moving out of Wheeler was not fun at all. Luckily, we made some of the greatest new roommates we could have ever met. We grew a lot this year. Learning how to be an adult is not all we expected. Thankfully we have made lifelong friends and found mentors we can look up to. All I can hope is that the next three years will be even greater than freshman year was.
PS…. you better decide to get your masters!!!!!!
