Throughout my time at Longwood University, I have not often worked on major group projects. That was different in Moundbuilders of North America. The course was designed to have groups of two students work together on multiple presentations together in which we shared research with the class. I have always struggled with group work, but this project challenged me. I was very uncomfortable working on a project with someone for so long because I tend to be over-controlling. Little did I know, that I would make a great friend out of this project, and also I would bolster my public speaking skills. I learned that sometimes you have to go through uncomfortable things to gain a great reward.
