I completed Goal 10 while taking Spanish 201 during my study abroad in the perfect place, Spain! As part of our course work we completed weekly diary entries, where we described, reacted, and analyzed events/activities of our choosing. We also were assigned questions of the day, one of which is attached above, where we were given a topic to go out and ask native Spainards about. I choose the question of the day regarding the legendary and historical figure known as El Cid. He was an important topic in both my Spanish 201 class and my History 384 class. I choose this assignment because it was a unique opportunity to write, understand, and speak in Spanish while also learning first hand about Spanish culture.
