SPRING 2020

Although this essay seems short in length, it was complicated to write because it is entirely in German.  My professor wanted us to write what we did over spring break using the tense that we were learning at the time.

Reflection: This paper demonstrates how far I have come with learning the German language.  It is much easier for me to speak the language than it is to write in it.  I actually had a lot of fun learning the German language over the past two years, and I feel as though writing my German essays enhanced my knowledge.  It is said that writing things down helps commit them to memory.  I feel as though if I continue to practice writing it, then I will be able to keep the knowledge I learned from this class, even if I do not continue learning German in an educational setting.
