Lightning Strike 4

Spring 2021 – ATTR 472

THIS YEAR’S PRESENTATION WAS CONDUCTED VIA ZOOM BECAUSE OF THE lingering PANDEMIC restrictions.  HERE IS THE POWERPOINT OF MY COMPILED RESEARCH.  WE ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE THE SLIDES UP BEHIND US WHEN PRESENTING, BUT WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO READ OFF THEM.  BASIC POINTS THAT I HIT THROUGHOUT THE PRESENTATION ARE WRITTEN IN THE NOTES SECTION BELOW EACH SLIDE.

Reflection: This year, I went back to anatomy based injuries because of someone important in my life. I wanted my research to be able to help someone, and I wanted to be able to give them their best options for treatment. Although this concept is basic, there is some debate on whether nonsurgical treatment will really cause a better healing environment than surgery. With the conclusion of my project, I was able to help my friend implement different exercises and treatments into his daily routine that helped decrease his shoulder pain. I enjoyed presenting this project, but I have also gotten used to virtual presentations. They are a little easier for my anxiety because I cannot see the people staring at me, and I am able to stay in my own space at home.
