ENGL 215 {H}

FALL 2018

This is a written description of a comic strip I drew for a project in this class.  Because I gave him the comic strips to keep, he wanted me to write a description of each piece and the significance of it relating to the topic of this class.  It highlights the complexity of the 9/11 tragedy and relates that to the books we read in class.

Reflection: This project and class really opened my eyes to how the tragedy of 9/11 changed our lives and country.  I was barely a year old when this event happened, so I had to learn about it as I grew up.  Life after 9/11 was normal to me because I never experienced life before it.  It was intriguing to learn how life changed for people that remember the before and after of that day.  I will carry the information I learned in this class, as you can gather from my paper, with me for the rest of my life.  I will never look at airport security, planes, New York, or enormously populated locations the same again.
