Goal 5: FINA 250

In this Introduction to Finance course, students learned the ins and outs of finance – including taxes, loans, fees, payments, credit and debit cards, etc. I was apprehensive going into the class because I wouldn’t typically consider myself a “numbers person.” However, because of this course, I am now better able to not only trust myself with my current finances, but also to trust myself with maintaining my future financial goals.

In the attached assignment, students were asked to take rules concerning mortgage loans and apply them to realistic word problems for potential clients. The assignment was originally frustrating to me because I was worried about getting the wrong numbers, but my professor was gracious enough to schedule a meeting for the assignment and reassured me that my solutions were all correct.
