Cormier Honors Courses

The Cormier Honors College offers several courses that hold an Honors denotation. These can either be regular classes that people who aren’t in the Honors College can still take or classes specific to the Cormier Honors College.

One class that I took during the spring semester of my freshman year was EDUC 245, or Introduction to Childhood Development. This was a regular class that people outside of the Honors College usually take if they are planning on earning a teaching degree, however, because it was the Honors section of that course, only Honors students were allowed to be in that specific time slot.

Another Honors course that I took the first semester of my freshman year was HONS 295, an introductory course of Special Topics. This course was specific to the Honors College and the topic changes each year.

Under this tab are the Honors courses, both specific to CHC and regular, that I’ve taken in my first year at Longwood University.
