Honors History 100

Honors history with Professor Isaac was definitely an interesting course. While sometimes the class was difficult to follow, we had a lot of fun arguing different points. This class included reading and analyzing many different documents pertaining to history starting from the “beginning” of time, up to the mid 1600s. We had pop quizzes throughout the semester and many research essays to write in the Chicago format. By taking this course, I learned to fully become a part of the class and offer up my opinion. This professor created an environment where all arguments were valid, no matter who disagreed. Besides that, his course really helped me to grow as a writer by not only learning a new format, but by making me get to the point. Surprisingly, I really like chicago style, endnotes and footnotes makes explaining stuff so much easier! I would definitely recommend this class to honors students who wish to learn more about writing and history!
