Big South Softball Champions 2016

The future is a scary thing to contemplate, especially when you are just starting your junior year of college. I am at the time where I should have grad schools picked out and a lot of my future figured out but alas, I do not. I know I will be attending grad school in the hopes of receiving a masters and becoming a PA. After this degree, my goal is to become employed at a sports medicine office so that I can stay involved in sports. I do not know where I wish to live yet except for not in boring ole’ Chesapeake where I grew up. Hopefully, as junior year progresses, I will make more of the decisions required to, as the college students say, “adult.”

Summer is a great time to get a new tan, try some new fruits, and relax. However, that’s not the case for student athletes. While most people are sitting on a beach, I am in my garage lifting weights. While others get to sleep in, I wake up at 6 am to go for a run. But the thing is, I love summer just the same as everyone else!

Summer represents relaxation even if I’m hitting of my tee. And hey, I’ll still get a tan, just a farmer’s tan!!
