The Cormier Honors College requires a 3.25 GPA, but it is not more work it is just different work. I have been told that saying since the first time I toured Longwood my senior year of high school. It is true. I have found in all of my honors courses that it was not harder, it honestly was just different work than a regular general education class. For example, in my music class our class went to four different concerts and wrote 2 papers on them. In the other classes they had papers for things they were learning in class.

I have found that the honors college keeps me on track with my grades and has made me enjoy more college experience even more. It has allotted me to have more support through honors faculty and my other peers in the honors college. I finished freshman year with a great support system and the highest GPA I have ever had.
