- Clinical placement on the OB unit at Johnston-Willis Hospital. Newborn and mother assessments, medication administration, documentation, and patient care were observed and performed during clinical experience.

- Clinical placement on the pediatric unit at Chippenham Hospital. Care of children under the age of 18 was observed and performed during clinical experience.

- Longwood University OB Bootcamp: 8 hours
- This simulation provided me an opportunity to learn skills regarding pregnancy and caring for an infant and mother during and after birth.
- Longwood University Multi Simulation: 4 hours
- Through this simulation I provided care to critical patients that involved skills such as blood administration, chest tube management, and cardiac monitoring.

- Tuckers Pavilion: 48 hours
- Clinical placement on the psychiatric units at Tuckers Pavilion. Care of patients with psychiatric and mental health disorders.

- I completed a 6-hour training on Dementia which included signs and symptoms, treatment, and communication strategies.
Community Health Nursing: 56.5 hours Fall 2022
- Clinical placement at various community health locations. Assisted in providing care to patients at the Dillwyn Department of Corrections, the Cumberland Health Department, PACE in Lynchburg, Centra Southside Emergency Department, Interventional Radiology at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital, and Centra Medical Group in Farmville.
Senior Simulation Lab: 2.5 hours Fall 2022
- Hospice Simulation: 2.5 hours
- This simulation provided me an opportunity to practice skills needed when caring for a patient in hospice, including communication strategies and caring for the family.
Work Experience:
Bon Secours St Francis Summer Student Nurse Extern June 2022-July 2022
- I was hired as a Summer Student Nurse Extern on the Labor and Delivery Unit at St. Francis Medical Center. I was assigned to a nurse where I worked her schedule for eight weeks. This gave me the opportunity to practice many clinical skills, assist in deliveries, and learn about electronic fetal monitoring.
Farm Helper: Gold Hill Farms May 2017-Present
- I was hired by my grandfather to help around the farm wherever needed. This includes cutting hay, fixing fencing, and taking care of all animals, including cows and chickens.
Babysitter May 2015-Present
- Babysitting several different ages of children from three years of age and older. I mostly work during the summer but also pick up some weekends and weekdays during the schoolyear if needed.

Virginia Student Nursing Association Conference February 29, 2020
- As a student member of Longwood University SNA, I attended the annual VSNA conference at Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia.
Longwood University COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Spring 2021
- As a student nurse I assisted in administering COVID-19 vaccinations to Longwood University faculty, staff, and students. I also participated in administering COVID-19 vaccinations to faculty and staff of surrounding public schools.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes Power Camp July 26, 2021
- Participated in this FCA camp as a nurse aid to take temperature checks and attend to any possible injuries.
Nottaway County School Sports Physicals August 19, 2021
- I participated with other Longwood University students and faculty to conduct sports physicals for students at Nottaway County Public Schools.
Longwood University Flu Shot Clinic October 20, 2022
- I assisted in administering flu shots to students and staff at Longwood University.
