Hey everyone! My name is Madison Pribble and I am a senior. I am a nursing major in the Cormier Honors College here at Longwood University. I have always wanted to be a nurse and I am finally working toward this dream. Furthermore, family, friends, and my faith have been strong influences in picking this career path and I can not wait to make a difference in someones life.
I am from Buckingham, Virginia, which is less than an hour from Longwood, and grew up on my family farm. As a senior in high school I was unsure on where I wanted to go to college or how far away I wanted to go. I questioned going this close to home for college but it is the best decision I have ever made.
I have fallen in love with the campus and community here at Longwood since my freshman year. This tight knit community of students has given me an abundance of opportunities that I will cherish forever. I made many new friends and I am looking forward to the relationships I will form over the last year I have here at Longwood.
