Quantitative Reasoning Pillar

Math 171

This general education course completed my Quantitative Reasoning Pillar and focused on the process of statistical decision making.  I had never taken a statistics course before this one and I was nervous that I would not be able to adapt to learning in this particular type of math course.  However, this course would end up being one of my favorite classes that I have taken thus far at Longwood!

When our semester was cut short due to Covid-19, I was worried that all of the successes that I had throughout the course would go to waste and I would not be able to keep up in a math class being taught through online mediums.  However, with a little extra work and some help from my dad, I still finished the semester feeling incredibly proud of my work done in the class.

I have attached below the final project that I completed for this course.  I am incredibly proud of the work that I did on this project, especially considering the fact that we were not able to meet face to face to discuss the project and how it should be structured.
