A board member of Alternative Breaks was never on my list of things to be in college, but it is hands down one of the best opportunities I have gotten. Through Longwood Alternative Breaks (LUAB), I have gain a new perspective on the world. I traveled to Puerto Rico in the spring of 2020 where I gained a new family as well as new life goals. Seeing life there in comparison to ours first hand was amazing, and this was just the little that LUAB has and can do.
Now as a the Director of Public Relations for the organizations, I plan to hold many service opportunities not only in other states and US territories, but also on our own campus and in Farmville.
