I completed this assignment  on December 3, 2018 as one of the final projects in our class. It is simply explaining the best places for a campus garden.

This artifact being one of the last assignments we did in class can easily demonstrate my growth in the class. Not only does it show the ;evil of research we did in order to have enough information to make the fact sheet but it also shows our skills has visualizing organizing the fact sheet in an appealing way. This was a project we had been working on for most of the semester; we were constantly gathering more information and having meetings with various advisors on where would a campus garden fit best. We could have done a better job at making it less confusing and a little bit less wordy so it was easier to just read and get the point. Wee also could have added another page so it could be less cluttered. In the short and long term, this assignment has helped me be more aware of the effects a garden or fresh fruit and vegetables has on not just a campus but also at the home environments as well. I now notice parts of campus that I did not use to, I think about how different fresh fruits and vegetables will help out in the dining hall and make the transportation for fruits and vegetables not as necessary.

Just a snapshot into my time at Longwood!
