Exercise Is Medicine – KINS 215

This artifact is a study guide worksheet we received after watching a  video on HIT and NEAT exercise. This assignment was completed by Sydney Jacobsen on September 6, 2018.

This assignment is simply one example of all of the important information and life skills KINS 215 has taught me. This class focused on teaching students healthy physical habits and diagnosing unhealthy ones. It also taught us how to approach the unhealthy habits and build new ones. The information I learned in this class has been instrumental in helping me stay active when I am not in softball season and helps me take care of my body when I am. This class also taught me vital research skills in searching for information and properly organizing it in a way that makes it easy for others to understand. In this course and on this assignment, obviously there are things I could have done better or put more work into. For this assignment, I could’ve written in complete sentences and maybe elaborated more on the topic. This also applies to the rest o the class: for other assignments, I could’ve put more time in versus just doing the bare minimum. A long-term goal of mine would be using the exercise information that I learned to stay healthy when I graduate from college.

Just a snapshot into my time at Longwood!
