During the spring of my freshman year, my soccer team and I helped sort food for the F.A.C.E.S. organization in Farmville. They collect items, such as non-perishable items and trash bags, to give to the people in the town of Farmville that are in need of the items. This experience was definitely rewarding because I was packaging carrots into bags in order for the employees to take to the houses of the qualified residents that have applied. What came with packaging was putting carrots into plastic bags, like grocery bags, until they were full and then putting them in a bin to be taken to those houses. I also made sure that the carrots were actually good, meaning that they didn’t have mold or slime on them, so that the residents know that we take care and look out for them. Attached is a picture of myself in the factory packaging the carrots.
