This organization is for students within Longwood University that are looking to be in the medical field after Undergrad. What goes on within this organization is having professionals in different fields come to Longwood and talk to the group about their school or their job, answer any questions that they might have, and to help the students decide if that school or job would be a good fit for them. This organization is helpful to me because it allows me to try and expand my horizons on what I might want to do after medical school and where I might want to go study. Being a part of this organization is great because I get different opportunities than other people to help me decide what I might want to do in the future. Currently, I hold a position on the executive board as event coordinator, meaning that I help to plan events and have our organization within events that are occuring on campus. I also plan what the banners and/or posters are going to look like during these events and also pick out what the items we are going to be selling at these events.
