This artifact is a general audience paper based on my final review paper that is also within this section of Sophomore Seminar. This paper is supposed to be without technical jargon, or if there is any, that they are explained in a way that someone within the science field would not understand. I particularly had difficulty with this paper because I’m not used to writing a science paper without being “sciency”, and so it was a new experience to me. I also found that it opened my eyes to what I would be writing about, or even talking about, as a scientist. I could be asked to give a speech about possible research I am doing, in the future, to an audience that has no idea what I am talking about, or even write an article as well. I did enjoy writing this paper, because it helped me to expand my writing capabilities within the science field.
