Hey Sam! It’s Sam.
I really hope the Coronavirus epidemic has passed by now. Are you still dating the girl that you came into college with? If not, this letter might be a bit awkward…..
Are you part of Theta Chi yet????? Or are you just a pledge for life?
Anyway, I genuinely hope that life is going well. Right now it’s going great. Great social circles, you just started “TheLowKeyLeague” a month or two ago, and you also just started detailing cars! Lots of hustles goin on… you’re always on your grind man, keep it up. That bread ain’t come from nowhere.
I know on the rubric it says that I’m supposed to “clearly explain goals for future” but I can’t really answer that question yet. Sorry Jessi. Anyways, you’ve just started hopping into the world of commentary, and as of today, you love it! Maybe you’ll become a big league commentator or something, who knows. Right now, you’re also super into music production. Maybe you’ll become a huge producer one day, linking up with the next Post Malone, and now you’re the epitome of the current state of music. Either way, I hope you’re still tight with Maggie, Joe, Mom, Dad and God. We both know we couldn’t have gotten anywhere without them.
I do have a few goals that I hope you’ve reached by now, though…
Scholarship: I hope by now, you’re excelling in this area. Good grades are definitely ideal! You even made all A’s this semester… hopefully you kept that pace up and you’re ending your time at Longwood with a strong gpa, and an even stronger understanding of your major. I hope you’re now ready to enter the real world and become the independent person you’ve wanted to be for a few years!
Service: You helped a few times with the FACES food pantry in your freshman year, with Professor Halliday. Hopefully you’ve become a regular with them. If not FACES, I trust you’ve found a legitimate place to give back. Perhaps the USO, now that you’re in the process of joining Theta Chi.
Community: The community of Longwood is like no other. You learned that in your first year here. I hope you become a leader in something big on campus! Give those incoming freshman the same experience that the seniors gave you, when you were new!
In the end, it was funny because you were so adamantly set on going to VT for your college experience. But since you didn’t get in, you “had” to go to Longwood. Now you’ve met some of your best friends ever there, and I hope you’ve kept those relationships going strong. Hopefully Brick is still with OX too!
All the best,
Sam
