This class was a very interesting one for me. A couple assignments I knocked out of the park, while others I completely bombed. The professor was a very helpful one, who was also a librarian, and helped our class and me become increasingly more proficient at locating scholarly articles. The class was built around comparing the world today (particularly America) and Suzanne Collins’ fictional world of Panem.

I wrote about the similarities between the Hunger Games’ Panem, and the USA, through the paradigm of wiretapping. As you can see, I had to get numerous articles to cite in my piece. Prof. Beach helped me improve greatly my skill of locating at utilizing these resources properly.
