This class was a little difficult for me. I’m not the best at math, and this class was a mixture of sociology and statistics: so you see why I disliked it. While I wasn’t a huge fan of this class, it did help me learn how to complete a research project. We read the book Something Must Be Done About Prince Edward County by Kristen Green and afterwards, we had to choose a topic to research on regarding the book. My group decided to see how poverty rates effected the amount of funding that schools received. This was like the fourth topic we chose because all of our previous topics didn’t seem to work.
