Dr. Chuck Ross, Professor of Physics, has signed a contract with the University of Mississippi Press to write a book examining the logistics of Civil War blockade running in the Bahamas. The book, expected to be released in early 2019, will be Dr. Ross’s fourth book devoted to technological and scientific aspects of the Civil War. Dr. Ross has also been hired as a consultant for a children’s book about the technology of the Civil War.
