Open in new tab I completed this lab report on November 7th, 2018 on detecting GMO’s in various foods.
This assignment was one of the few experiments we had in our lab class for BIOL 101. I really enjoyed this assignment because in my Human Geography class my senior year of high school, we learned all about GMO’s and Non0GMO’s in society and how the titles are becoming more and more prominent. This assignment taught me a lot not just because I was learning all about GMO’s but also though having to build a full lab report on the experiment. Completing the lab reports were difficult for me at first because I was not exactly sure yet how to do an A worthy one. I eventually enjoyed doing them because they helped me summarize an experiment that I was thoroughly interested in. I was able to draw conclusions and look over my possible errors. These skills will help me all throughout my life, not because I will be doing full lab reports but because those skills of drawing conclusions and looking back on past mistakes and adjusting are very important life skills.
