In this class, we learned the basic principles of business finance including topics such as the acquisition of funds, cash flow, financial analysis, capital budgeting, working capital requirements, and capital structure. We learned how to find and apply various calculations to the management of a business as well including but not limited to, the Debt Ratio, Liquidity Ratio, Current Ratio, and Quick Ratio.

To prepare for each of our tests, we were required to complete a problem set from our textbook, ‘Corporate Financial Management‘, that covered the chapters that we had learned in class. A sample of the first problem set that I completed can be seen below.
