Marketing Related Work

Below you will find links to my work that is specifically Marketing related.

Marketing Internship

On the following page, you can find some of the samples of my work from my internship with Campus Recreation. By the time I graduate in May 2021, I will have worked as their Marketing Supervisor for two years.

Promotions Projects

In this class, my group was required to choose an existing business and develop a plan for it to expand to a country where it did not yet exist. We chose Panera Bread and decided to open a series of franchises in England. On this page, you can see the promotional campaign that I developed for our project. This was one of my favorite projects.
For the final portion of our semester-long project in this class, I developed promotional ideas for the Tropical Smoothie Cafe that our group proposed opening in our college-town of Farmville.
On the following page, you can find the marketing project that my group did for the Nintendo Switch. I primarily worked on the S.W.O.T. Analysis, Promotion, and Place sections.

Marketing Papers

This is the research paper that I worked on through the entire duration of my Business Ethics course. It is what I am most passionate about and hope to pursue after graduation; marketing social and environmental sustainability.
My final research project for Music Appreciation involved extensive research into the propaganda used in Sergei Prokofiev’s “Alexander Nevsky”. I researched how the film and its music score were used to influence the Russian people during World War II.

Marketing Research Samples

For my Honors Enhancement of this class, I conducted in-depth research into how Longwood had advertised its services since its opening in 1839. This was done to ensure that future campaign recommendations do not cover what has already been done. I then researched how business programs at other schools in the United States have been marketing themselves so that I could provide recommendations as to what kind of advertising campaigns Longwood’s College of Business and Economics should use going forward.
In my Applied Statistics class, we expanded on the foundational concepts we learned in Statistical Decision Making and applied them to real-world situations. My report above analyzes data provided by the professor and draws a conclusion about whether Cola sales were greater when the product was placed at the end of the aisle or in its normal spot somewhere within the aisle. This was done by conducting a two-sample T-Test in RStudio.
Our original final project of conducting and analyzing market research for a local business was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19. Instead, our professor provided us with a set of data that we were required to analyze using statistics. The presentation that I created for that project can be found on this page.
