For me, Physical Education is a very important class to require because healthy habits need to be encouraged in college since being on our own can sometimes cause us to have horrible eating habits. I liked that they required us to have a fitness tracker and report our fitness over two week periods because it makes a physical representation of our health. It helped to show me that on Sundays I tend to not be active because I spend the day studying or relaxing. It also gave me the goal of 10,000 steps a day in order to keep healthy. The labs were a way to show us multiple ways to exercise and stretch to keep healthy habits that only took about 20 minutes. I really appreciated how this class held me accountable for my habits and pushed me to want to stay as healthy as possible.
