During the weekend of May 30th-June 2nd, 2019 I volunteered for Alumni Weekend at Longwood. I had an amazing time mixing bonding with the alumni and working shifts to make sure their time was special. My favorite day was Saturday because that was when the majority of the alumni were there. I heard stories from all different decades and generations about how Longwood was, and I got to update alumni on how Longwood is now. Over the whole weekend I worked about 20 hours, which was exhausting but rewarding. Next year I am going to make sure I volunteer again even though I am going to be an alumni just so I can keep giving back. Maybe not for as many hours though so I can still celebrate my graduation with the other alums!
