The Cormier Honors College has three pillars and the community pillar is integral in all that we do. I was anxious to come to college because I had to restart all my friendships and connections that I had. My mentor and mentee partner have been always there for me when I need it, and so has the rest of the CHC students around campus and in classes. In every class I walk into I have the assurance of knowing at least one classmate because of being in CHC. Being involved in an organization that gave me a community that is accepting, kind, and also quite fun, is something I am very thankful for.
