I knew when I began looking at colleges that I wanted to be at a small school, because one of my favorite things about my high school was its small size and community feeling.  I have found that the honors college definitely comes close to the group feeling that existed among my graduating class of under 200.  I am grateful to be in a place that is small enough to create that feeling and offer the same sort of faculty and administrative support and familiarity.  There are so many people here who are wonderfully kind, open-hearted, and enthusiastic, and I hope to immerse myself more and more in the community each year I spend here.
