PHYS 103

This was one of my honors classes I took during the second semester of my freshman year.  Coming into the class, I expected it to be very difficult as it was not only a physics class, but an honors one as well.  However, this turned out to be one of my favorite classes I have taken so far!  My teacher, Dr. Donnelley, was amazing as she really taught the physics to our class in a way for us to understand it well while incorporating engaging labs into our class too.  This class really taught me to never judge a class before taking it as I ended up doing really well in it.  It truly helped me realize that I was capable of more than I thought I was before taking this class.

The artifact I chose for this class was an essay portion of one of our tests.  For our test on motion, our teacher gave us a prompt on an airplane and we had to figure out what was the best type of plane for the airline business.  It was very interesting as it had us apply the physics we had learned, while incorporating business skills as well.  The essay portion also showed us multiple different ways that the physics could apply to real life situations which was really cool.
