Natural Sciences: General Chemistry, Dr. Slavin, Spring 2017
Many of the general education courses I have taken throughout my first year, I compared to classes I took in high school, expecting these university courses to be more or less the same information, just in a different environment. Chemistry was one of these courses. I took chemistry at my high school during my sophomore year, so I was basically expecting to take a more advanced repeat of this course. While both courses included some of the same information, my college level chemistry course included much more real life information and issues. A lot of what we learned could be compared to real life situations and events, which made learning easier. Most of what we did was in class notes and labs, but there was one lab report sheet that was turned in online after the lab, which I have attached as my artifact.
