Spanish 211

Integrated Language & Culture I

I took Spanish 211 during the Spring 2020 semester with Professor Rosado-Figueroa. At the beginning of the semester, I was really looking forward to this class. I had already taken Spanish with Profesora Rosado and knew this class was going to be a good one. This class was my most interactive, both before and after we switched to online. Every class day we would work in groups on questions to prompt class discussion. This allowed me to improve upon my skills as an effective team member and communicator. Spanish 211 helped me to become a better team player and improve upon my work ethic. The class was held consistently throughout this challenging semester, which forced me to better my work habits and get it all done. The artifact I have chosen is an assignment given after we watched a short film for class. While online we would continue to do things as a class, which is why I chose this assignment. Even though we were miles apart we kept going and this exercise demonstrates that. I am very glad I took this class, it allowed me to improve upon myself as a fellow peer. I am even considering continuing with Spanish and making it my minor.

The artifact above is a homework assignment titled “Después de ver la película.” It was filled out by myself, Tucker Marshall, on April 3, 2020. This exercise was chosen because it resulted from our class continuing to push forward as a team and take on the material at home. It was also an assignment I rather enjoyed.
