This was one of my favorite courses I have taken at Longwood. Professor Geraghty pushed me to change my writing from a scientific nursing perspective to an informative, history lense. I think that having to write this paper helped to me further develop my time management skills, my planning skills, as well as my writing skills. One of the most challenging aspects of this class was having to incorporate primary resources. I learned how to research for these kinds of sources through the use of many databases. I worked on my paper throughout the course, creating many different drafts and submitting them to be edited by my professor. I am extremely proud of the the final work shown below. I am so glad to have take this course and further developed my research skills.
