Hi! My name is Katelyn Housler. I will be graduating a year early in May of 2021 and come to Longwood all the way from Georgia. While at Longwood I will be working towards a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Once I graduate, I plan to earn my Master’s Degree before starting my professional career. I am a member of the Cormier Honors College, Honors Student Association, Alpha Delta Lambda Honors Fraternity, and the Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity where I serve as the Vice President of Finance.

I was able to end my first year at Longwood with a 4.0 GPA and made the President’s List for both the Fall and Spring semesters. I plan to continue to work hard so that I am able to maintain this academic standard over the next two years.

In the short time that I have been here, Longwood already feels like home and everyone I have met has become a part of my ever-growing family here. I decided to come here initially because of the small, intimate class sizes and overall friendly atmosphere. Everyone I’ve met at Longwood has been welcoming, helping me to feel fully comfortable in a place so far away from my home and family.
