This course is an introductory course at Longwood that all freshmen are required to take their first year on campus. I took the Honors version and used inquiry and an analysis of various philosophers’ perspectives on how we should live ethically. We were encouraged to develop critical thought, civil discourse, and applied ethical reasoning. Our class engaged in discussions every day about the readings we did and were guided in forming our own opinions on the various topics.
Due to the fact that we were only graded on our completion of tests and daily quizzes, I have included samples of the notes I took in class to serve as examples of the work I did.
