Religion 342

This class was also a Civitae class, so it can be found under the Civitae tab as well. This class was focused on learning about and understanding Christian existentialism. We read excerpts of books from Christian theologians, atheists, and fictional books with strong religious themes. We analyzed the concepts of nihilism, the problem of evil, and the meaning of being a true Christian. It was a very interesting class. I learned much more than I had expected and it broadened my viewpoint on a lot of topics. At the end of the semester I wrote a paper comparing and contrasting ideas of two of the authors we had read. It is attached below.
