This class was also a nursing requirement. We analyzed ancient moral philosophies and then examined modern biomedical ethics issues. This class was so fascinating to me that I added a philosophy minor. My favorite moral philosopher is Aristotle and I have started applying his strategies to my life. We discussed abortion, euthanasia, and genetic enhancement. Hearing different opinions and aspects I had never considered really opened my mind on these subjects and helped me to better understand and therefore respect opposite opinions. I absolutely love moral philosophy and applying it to modern day issues while debating with another opinion. I am now considering a career in the biomedical ethics field. I have included my reflection for the class.
