Biology 121: The Unity of Life
I learned a lot in this class about giving presentations. Dr. Franssen gave a presentation about giving presentations and how to make a powerpoint. We gave numerous presentations in this class and Dr. Franssen wanted to make sure that we gave good presentations for the rest of our careers.
One of our many presentations was a poster at the end of the semester. I had never made a poster before and had to come up with a design. I took this poster assignment and ran with it because I just let my creativity guide me in creating the poster. Also, after completing this poster I have learned that this assignment was a great experience. This poster was important in my college experience because learning how to create it will help me in the future when creating another poster.
I was correct that this poster experience would come in handy because I had to create another poster for my Microbiology class. Also, with this poster we were instructed to give a presentation. Dr. Franssen’s lectures will certainly be useful throughout the rest of my college experience.
This class really helped me prepare for presenting presentations and researching ideas. I learned so much about posters and ways to make presentations effective in getting your point across.
This powerpoint is one of the required presentations we had to complete and was great practice in giving presentations and what makes an effective powerpoint.
