There are three core values that are recognized at Longwood which are community, scholarship, and service. These values correspond with the main goal for all graduates of Longwood University, which is to become a citizen leader. Longwood wants its graduates to promote change in the world through leadership in their community. Becoming a citizen leader is a goal that we should all strive to achieve during our time in Longwood because it is taught throughout all of our classes.
