Infographic
For this infographic project, I was able to focus on professional design principles and research. My infographic both informs the audience about El Salvador and urges them to visit. I briefly go over the history of the country, demographic information, the government, environment, and culture. It was difficult to fit what I wanted to say into such a small space; I had to very concise while still being clear and providing enough information. This was a challenge because I had a lot to say about each category after doing my research. I knew that too many words, though, would likely reduce both the audience’s ability and interest in reading the infographic. I used a simple design with bright colors and clipart to grab the attention of any potential readers. I incorporated the design of the Salvadoran flag into the top banner beneath the title. I learned more about professional design and utilizing the eight C’s of professional writing.
