Conclusion

I learned a lot from this class and it was a great new experience for me. I usually have to write analytically for my other English classes and while I did have to that in this class, it wasn’t in the same way as usual. It was often hard for me to remember the eight C’s of professional writing and the AIDA principles so I had to go back and revise a lot. That was actually very helpful, though, because it will be easier to apply those principles in the future. Some aspects of writing get overlooked by writing for just a few different purposes, so I think that writing in new ways improves those skills as a whole because it requires more thought and effort. I enjoyed working with my peers on several occasions and it was a new experience to create documents using graphic design elements. My skills in collaboration, research, and oral communication have all grown during my time in this course. I always have a lot to improve, though, and I hope to have the chance to utilize these skills in the future.
